What would you like to be added:
Hi team, I want to add 2 options to enhance visibility whilte waiting:

  • --log-wait-message Enable logging while waiting
  • --wait-message-interval Specify log interval. Default: 30s
$ kubectl wait --for=condition=Ready pod/busybox1 \
 --log-wait-message \
 --wait-message-interval=15s \
 --timeout=60s
Waiting for condition=Ready on pod/busybox1. Elapsed time: 15s
Waiting for condition=Ready on pod/busybox1. Elapsed time: 30s
Waiting for condition=Ready on pod/busybox1. Elapsed time: 45s

Why is this needed:
More visibility on waiting

This issue is currently awaiting triage.

SIG CLI takes a lead on issue triage for this repo, but any Kubernetes member can accept issues by applying the triage/accepted label.

The triage/accepted label can be added by org members by writing /triage accepted in a comment.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes-sigs/prow repository.

I think, bash script can be used for this. Flag usually is discussed if there is no alternative. In that case, it is.

just curious related to the preview on issues page, why are we still seeing this issue on preview of https://github.com/kubernetes/kubectl/issues page when it is closed?
is there something pending for it to be unpinned?
