Also adjusting public interface of the `Key` object.
These are anti-patterns that we should have already removed.
This makes the legacy validation API the only place the requires the deprecated claim objects.
The minimum supported PHP version there is 7.1, so we have to do this for PHP 5.6 and 7.0.
