How to integrate sampling period in the attribute field?

Most studies have a sampling period rather than a "Collection date".

networks - "Collection date"
datasets - "Collection date"
interactions - "Date of the recorded interaction"
environments - "When the environmental variable has been measured"

Thus, what should be the default date when it's unknown?

Not sure if it's possible. I haven't seen any times period field type in sequelize.
