Import ipywidgets causes vscode jupyter notebook to halt

This is probably caused by one of my settings. It works on another computer in VS Code and on the same computer using VS Code Insider.

The following code:

import ipywidgets
ipywidgets.Text('Hello')

doesn’t display the text when I run it for the first time. When I run it a second time, Jupyter Notebook hangs. The same kernel works fine in VS Code Insider. Other ipywidgets examples doesn't work as well. Creating new profile doesn't help (as the plugins are shared between profiles)

Fresh reinstall helped :)
