Disclaimer: I only tested on Windows with NVDA, it is a Chromium bug that the editor text is silent on the Mac.

  • We cannot use proper aria semantics due to a (Chromium bug)[https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=593646].
  • When IntelliSense pops up, an alert tells the current focused suggestion.
  • When picking suggestions, an alert tells the current focused suggestion.
  • When accepting a suggestion, an alert tells that the suggestion was accepted.
  • Known issue: the current line text is read again by NVDA when doing cursor down/up when picking suggestions.
