Issue Type: Bug
This may be an issue with shutting down windows as I often will tell it to shut down without manually closing VSCode. When I reopen after a shutdown VSCode shows a stale version of the tabs I had open.
Perhaps current open file and window setup (location of different columns/rows of editors) could be saved on a regular basis instead of only on closing by hand?
