This doesn't seem to work properly.
PostgreSQL indeed returns a resource when using PARAM_LOB, not a string. Converting it like this doesn't read the stream and the string returned is always something like "Resource id #14".

In the case of contactsinteraction it then fails when we try to read VCS data, leading to #22439

Previously we just converted this resource using settype, which produced
things like "Resource id #14" instead of the actual resource data.

Now we read the stream correctly if the returned data is a resource
