| 1. Verify that your NGINXaaS deployment meets the [pre-requisites]({{< ref "/nginxaas-azure/monitoring/enable-monitoring.md#prerequisites">}}) for Platform metrics to work. | ||

I think we should remove this section entirely to turn off legacy monitoring since we have decided that this is not needed anymore. Instead lets add a section to migrate alerts to native metrics, use this azure doc(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/alerts/alerts-create-metric-alert-rule#edit-an-existing-alert-rule) as a reference and add the steps needed for migration. We need to ask customers to modify the signal name to point to native metrics instead of custom metrics.
