From c2f5471f6d165b309b9d03e0564a4869b49a201b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Rich Trott Date: Fri, 19 Aug 2016 21:57:51 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] doc: remove "feature branch" jargon MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit In the context of the CONTRIBUTING.md document, there is no advantage to describing the branch as a "feature branch" and the term may be confusing. Just refer to it as a branch. Context for the curious: The phrase "feature branch" in CONTIRUBTING.md confused someone I was assisting today. It occured to me that the word "feature" doesn't add anything and can be confusing. ("I'm doing a bug fix so I don't need to create a feature branch, right?")
