Migrate to Nx button in VS Code does nothing

Current Behavior

I've navigated to Nx Console and in it I get a nice list of all the benefits of Nx and a "Migrate to Nx" button that tells me it's completely automatic but when I click it absolutely nothing happens.

Expected Behavior

I would expect my application to be migrated to Nx or I would expect a troubleshooting wizard to display to help me get my application ready to migrate if something is wrong or there is an error.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Load existing Angular CLI application in VS code
2. Click Nx Console button on left nav.
3. Click "Migrate to Nx" button.

4.observe nothing happens.
