@nulinspiratie Hey man, we are syncing the dummy_measurement file and didn't know the purpose of DummyMeasurement.

@HollySte Hmm I believe we created this so that you could create a function such as:

def record_value(param, msmt=None):
    if msmt is None:
        msmt = DummyMeasurement()

    return_val = msmt.measure(param)
    return return_val

I think it has some use, but it should definitely be clarified in the docstring
