The latest nightly builds are using a new Docker image based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal): ghcr.io/orbitalquark/textadept-build:v2.0. Previous builds used an image based on 18.04 LTS (Bionic). What this means is that if you attempt to run a pre-built Textadept binary on a version of Linux released before April 2020, you may get glibc or libstdc++ errors. If that is the case, you will have to manually compile Textadept from source. (See https://orbitalquark.github.io/textadept/manual.html#compiling)
If you are affected, sorry for the inconvenience. Most Linux distributions now ship with libncurses6 instead of 5, which is was Ubuntu 18.04 was using. With this change, more people should be able to run Textadept out of the box without having to install libncurses5.
