Hello,
while trying to connect to an existing codespace on a project with a custom Dockerfile, I receive this error "A problem occurred attempting to connect to Codespace.".

Here's probably the relevant part of the log:

Steps to reproduce

• Create a codespace from GitHub on this repository: https://github.com/serl/codespaces-test
• Open JetBrains Gateway and try to connect to it using PyCharm
• Wait a couple of minutes

Note: According to the doc, I added the SSH feature from devcontainer.json. The error is the same with and without the feature installed.

Note: I opened this ticket a couple of days ago, and now I found out that that repository is not checked since a couple of weeks and I should have updated Gateway. I installed Gateway a week ago, and checking updates in the Gateway app does not find anything, so I guess I've the latest version, but still it advised me to open an issue there. I'm confused 🤷 😁

EDIT: The Codespace works without issues in Visual Studio Code, both on my machine and in the browser.

Try This:

• Check your firewall settings.
• Make sure that the Dockerfile is located in the root directory of your repository.
• Make sure that the Dockerfile has a FROM instruction that specifies the base image to use.
• Make sure that the Dockerfile has a RUN instruction that installs the necessary dependencies.
• If you are using a custom network, make sure that the network is configured correctly.
