Building pyosmium in cygwin shell, I get the following.

Not sure what the problem is.
How do I resolve this?

It can't find some symbols from the Python library. My guess would be that this is a configuration error where the includes for Python and the library don't match.

Unfortunately I can't help any further as I don't have neither experience with nor access to Windows/cygwin. Moving this to the newly created Discussion section. Maybe another Wndows user can help.

Undefined reference to ... usually means a missing or misplaced -l... on the command line. Windows and Cygwin care about the order things appear on the link line; -lpython3.8 should be after all object files and libraries that depend on python, and before whatever libpython depends on. Does adding -lpython3.8 (or the equivalent) to the link command lines (or moving it to the end of the link command lines) fix the problem?
