Welcome to the gedcom-ruby wiki!

This is a project for easily doing custom, callback-based GEDCOM parsing. The original project was created by Jamis Buck, Phillip Davies has since taken over managing it.

Todo:

1. Tests: Finish Date / DatePart tests (improve coverage, etc). Write tests for Parser
2. Put in code to deal with ‘AD’ epoch
3. Update README file to include instructions re: running tests via Rake. Update instructions for samples and make sure they’re working
4. Update licensing info in all files (has Jamis’ old contact info, not sure if it’s still accurate)
5. Gem-ify, Load up to RubyForge
