U is fUel for the Permaweb. Permaweb users can use U to swap between other tokens, and interact with applications living on the permaweb that use U. Developers can use U in their applications like many other applications on the Permaweb. Applications can leverage the Foreign Call Protocol (allow / claim / reject) to make "contract to contract" transactions possible using internal writes. It will allow users to buy, sell, and interact with any asset on the Permaweb.
