Jailbreaking on iPad Air 4th gen on iPadOS 15.2 and iPhone XR on iOS 15.1 result in just a reboot

If you press the Jailbreak button after patchfinding the iPhone/iPad just reboots and nothing happens.

I tried it twice and got 2 panics, actually I can't upload this type of file so here is a zip of them:
panic-full-2022-10-31-231100.000.ips.zip
panic-full-2022-10-31-233010.000.ips.zip

I'm experiencing this issue on iPhone 13 Pro, running iOS 15.3 (Fugu15 was installed via TrollStore). No logs as well. (Sorry if this is expected behavior.)

We tried with and without TrollStore

OMG airplane mode on and it worked taught about old Unc0ver tricks

Edit:
Airplane trick worked since airplane disables your WiFi which is the same as the known issue on the readme.

Same issue here, iPhone 13, iOS 15.1.1

Can confirm it works when enabling airplane mode, but as soon as I turn airplane mode back off it reboots

While being jailbroken and not using the iPhone it randomly panics as well, here is one of the panics:
panic-full-2022-11-01-002612.000.ips.zip

This seems to be known issue nr 2 of the readme.

Airplane mode actually doesn't fix it for me? How do you find the ips panics? (I get a purple screen now, before rebooting)

Also about the logs, pretty sure that is expected behavior.

If I jailbreak with success and restart the app the log is gone too.

Have you turned off Wi-Fi? That’s the reason why it only works in AirPlane mode and a known issue: https://github.com/pinauten/Fugu15#known-issuesbugs

Look at the comments above, yes we did.

I’m confused at what the issue in question is then?

Like said in about any comment and in the title, pressing the jailbreak button just results in a reboot.

But your comment below said it worked with AirPlane mode? Poor success rate is to be expected, and not an issue. It resulting in a panic due to Wi-Fi is a known issue, too.

I am not gonna play cat and mice in a GitHub issue.

The success was on the iOS 15.4.1 device which is known to succeed and only had to reboot once. All the others have not had a single success yet, only reboots.

So it's just a ios 15.4.1 Jailbreak!?

Not really but that is the only iOS version I have seen succeed so far.

Just trying to help here. Your question is very ambiguous and you can't expect anyone to read through the whole thread to try and find out what the real issue is. I understand you're not the target audience for this release, but at least make the lives easier for those who are and are trying to get things done.
I suggest adding a concise table mentioning the devices tested, their iOS version and to confirm Wi-Fi is disabled when testing was made and other steps taken.

XR 15.1 wifi off and have tried airplane mode with bluetooth off too, nothing

@DetachHead

turning off wifi works for me, but make sure you actually disable wifi in settings. turning it off in control center doesn't actually turn it off, it only disconnects it.

iPhone XR 15.0 had this same problem. I installed with trollstore, disabled wifi, cell data, and bluetooth. I then installed with Esign and did the same things. Nothing worked. Is this something that might get fixed with a newer version?

not sure if this is related, but it is also rebooting an iPad 9th gen running IOS 15.4.1 when pressing the jailbreak button. I had wifi disabled even though it shouldn't effect IOS 15.4.1

I went ahead with attaching this to a console, and there are three exceptions, on ports 0x1046ff564 (twice), and once on 0x4142434400. This is on an iPad mini 5 (WiFi) on iPadOS 15.2.
