Where on docs.platform.sh should be changed?

unknown. May be a new section?

What exactly should be updated?

How do you know what service your [sic] on like "grid", "dedicated gen 3" or "dedicated gen 2"?

Answer:

the filter on Console should tell you whether your project is on the Grid or Dedicated infrastructure.
