Appendix F: Thumb Top Versions
Occasionally, you will need to know what "version" of the Thumb Top you have. This guide will tell you how to distinguish between versions.
The version we will first go over is referred to as "Version 2" or "V2". It is easily distinguishable by an indicator dot on the bottom of the Thumb Top:
If you see this dot, you have a "Version 2" Top, or a "V2" Top.
Pretty straightforward: if you look at the bottom of the Thumb Top and you do not see an indicator dot, you have a "Version 0" or "V0" Top. The version that is available in the repository is V0.
The height of the ball well. That's it, really. V2 can accommodate balls that are smaller, and V0 accommodates balls that are larger. That's the only difference.
