This was PS2 in the probcomp class taught in the Fall of 2016. The notebooks are in https://github.com/probcomp/class-9s915-f2016-assets/tree/master/10-10-problem-set-2.

Considerations:

  • Can use something like runipy; or programmatically extract a Python script and run it
  • IPython apparently has variable substitution, which we could use to parameterize iteration counts for testing (SMOKETEST environment variable)
  • Could have self-testing cells (possibly with a custom %%self-test magic)
