The release year of v0.10.9 is corrected from 2019 to 2018

  • [x ] Tests added (for all bug fixes or enhancements)
  • [ x] Tests passed (for all non-documentation changes)
  • [x ] Fully documented, including whats-new.rst for all changes and api.rst for new API (remove if this change should not be visible to users, e.g., if it is an internal clean-up, or if this is part of a larger project that will be documented later)

@pydata/xarray This was requested to merge into stable.

Is that OK? I'm not sure how the master & stable branches interact.

Let me know if there are any follow-ups (e.g. merge this into master). I'll check this PR tonight and this weekend.

This is fine. "stable" is just the branch used for building our docs, which generally points to the last release + cherrypicks. We should also fix this on "master" but it isn't urgent and I'm not worried about duplicating this work :). The releasing instructions explicitly note that it's OK to force push to stable when releasing a new version.
