GOPEN

Go lang TOOL to open the GIT origin remote of a repo in the Browser

License

This project is released under the MIT License.

Installing

You can install Gopen:

How it works

Sometimes you need to define different keys for different GIT Versioning systems and then you decide to use ssh_config to organize yours IdentifyFiles. gopen checks if the actual git repo remote origin is using a SSH_HOST and then if yes it gets the URL of the host configured in the .ssh/config file. If it does not exists there it will open the remote url configured in the git origin/remote.

Why I wrote this

Well, as I do work with different github, gitlab and bitbucket projects configured with ssh_config, for me is very usefull, so when I'm pushing a branch to create a MR/PR(and usually I use lazygit) and then I want to open the remote to conclude the MR/PR creation process, I do not need anymore to type directly in the browser but instead I can just gopen.
