Create more masters (control planes)

I want to support two szenarios by k3s-ansible.

1. Increase the number of master nodes.

• e.g. I start with one master (control planes)
• I want to have 3 masters (control planes)

2. for whatever reason 2 of my 3 masters are gone.

• I want to rerun the role and the control planes are reinstalled on the two empty nodes.

How can we do this?

I just noticed (by trying). This doesn't work on a 2nd run:

According to the documentation - https://docs.k3s.io/datastore/ha-embedded - it should work to join to an existing master at any time.

Anybody willing to help?
