Introduction

  • The ability to filter and report based on the content of an app lets you keep control over the data you see in your apps.

  • It allows us to dig deeper into our reports when we have huge data results.

  • With filtering, you can control not only what you want to see, but what you want to exclude. You can filter based on choices you make from a list, or you can create specific filters to focus on exactly the data that you want to see.

For example in the following graph we have all the department wise count of Male/Female population as shown below

https://github.com/uoForms/quickforms3/wiki/images/fullfilter.JPG

Now if we want to see full time Male/Female comparison only for Electronics then we can use filter. Click on the filter button and select department = Electronics and Status = full time . After selecting and clicking on filter you will have a reduced focused view for analysis and make business decisions which can improve performance.

  • Set the filter

  • The following image shows the report results based on the filter criteria specified. https://github.com/uoForms/quickforms3/wiki/images/filterConcept.JPG
