Is it possible to get email addresses of my contacts through any contact APIs, or through any APIs?

I am trying to fetch all my contact details.But always my contact email fields,(active_email,email etc..)are coming null.

As far as I know the active_email can only be retrieved for the own profile. However the other emails like business_address.email should be available, if your contact has shared this information with you.

Thank you @johanness for replying.I tried By changing privacy settings,but for some reason not getting any emails, all email keys are coming null.

I tried using the contacts call in the dev portal. As user ID I passed me and as user fields I passed business_address.email. Of those of my contacts who allow me to see their business email address, I get the email in return. For those contacts who did not share their email with me, or who just don't have a business email, it returns null.
