Apply for SCF

This project is currently experimental and does not have the infrastructure to enable production-ready services. Additionally, the cross-chain bridge(s) functionality needs much more work to even be an MVP. This is because maintaining a codebase that can potentially become of medium size pretty fast takes time.

We could start allocating more time to this project before Soroban launches on mainnet by applying for an SCF grant for the project. This would mean having secure implemented services including at least:

• a fully featured events streaming service.
• deployment-ready implementation of the trustless bridges to Soroban (read more here). The bridges would be at least from Ethereum to Soroban (we're considering also implementations for other chains), but any smart contract chain could potentially be connected easily to Soroban using the already provided functionalities in soroban-cortex-core.

That said, before drafting up a plan and submission for the Stellar Community Fund we'd like to make sure there's interest for us to work on this project. That's why we're opening a poll and discussion channel; let us know what you think and if you have any concerns or questions.
