Meddit

The purpose of meddit is to give users a better understanding of what symptoms and conditions mean. Through Communities users have access to a large base of experiences, emotions, and expertise. There are thousands of websites that give you medical terms that you know nothing about. Meddit wants to facilitate an open, inclusive environment that focuses on feelings and the experience of every day people.

Instructions to run

Create .env files in the backend and frontend folders

For the backend folder:

PORT=3000

For the frontend folder:

PORT=9000

Run the backend app and the frontend app individually

npm start
