Significant delay when opening python files

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

Zed 0.162.5, MacOS 15.1.1, when selecting files in the project view, there is a significant delay before the file is displayed in the editor. In older Zed versions it was almost instantaneous.

Environment

Zed: v0.162.5 (Zed)
OS: macOS 15.1.1
Memory: 64 GiB
Architecture: aarch64

Issue is not present in 0.161.2.

Isn't this basically #21404 ? Can you check whether it is reproducible on latest Preview/Stable?
