So dojo is pretty rich and cool.

The question arises what to do with it.

One option is to push for a rich GUI implementation.

Perhaps another more interesting idea is explore some of the charts that dojo has to offer.

Generally, we should work on a "strongly specified" feature that deals with data analysis, presentation as for "data journalism".

Currently, we have this underspecified feature:

(Not really exercised much. Really underspecified anyway.)

Perhaps, we are rather interested in an "Analytics" feature.

Let's continue the discussion with Yves tomorrow, as this also relates to data warehousing.

We also have this:

This is properly specified and exercised (and probably worth exercising more).

It is though not really related to showing shorts and doing sort of data analytics.

A simple thing we could do is:

  • Show a pie chart for distribution of salaries over departments.
  • Show a bar chart instead.

We should also really push for a feature that allows for some data analytics on the time line. Let's discuss this tomorrow.
