Results from incompatible greenlet / gevent install - see python-greenlet/greenlet#178

gevent 20.9.0 fixes the issue, but is currently breaking vaping.

We will look at python 3 async soon and address a potential upgrade / replacement there, for the interim fix we are pinning to gevent 1.5.0 (apr 2020 release) and greenlet 0.14.6
