Upstream PR in jupyterhub/kubespawner#607

Next week is our M2LInES annual retreat. I would really like to launch the M2LinES cluster before then so I can show it to the group. This group uses pytorch heavily. Thanks to pangeo-data/pangeo-docker-images#315, we now have a pytorch pangeo image. The only thing missing is the ability to select the right image on launch.

Is it possible we can get this working by the end of this week (Friday May 13)? I understand that moving forward requires the upstream PR to be reviewed and merged, and possibly a kubespawner release. Is there anything we can do to accelerate the process?

Update: I had missed #1267, which added the pytorch image for m2lines. That definitely resolve the issue for next week's demo! Sorry for the noise!
