This plugin makes it easy to create different breakpoints during a responsive web design.
There are two different ways to install the plugin into your Sketch app. But before starting the installation, you must know the location of the Sketch Plugins folder. To do this, just click on Plugins Menu > Reveal Plugins Folder... from Sketch. Also, you can find it by following these steps.
- Open a terminal and navigate to the Sketch plugins folder.
- Run the command
git clonehttps://github.com/47deg/pointgrid.git - The plugin is available in the
Plugins Menu > point-grid-sketch-plugin
- Download the zip file from GitHub
- Unzip the plugin zip file into the Sketch plugins folder
- The plugin is available in the
Plugins Menu > point-grid-sketch-plugin
- Open a new or existing Sketch document
- Create an artboard object and set the layout settings in order to define the total width of the breakpoint, the number, and the width of columns
- After selecting the artboard object, click
Plugins > point-grid-sketch-plugin - Indicate the number of different breakpoints to create and where they will be located (below or on the right of the original)
- For each new breakpoint, specify the width
- The breakpoints should be created on the canvas
