May I know will there be new enhancements to access the call logs in iOS device?

Hello,
we are currently not considering iOS support. I am not sure if iOS actually provides this data. Even android has some restriction and if app that reads logs wants to be published in play store it has to be app of certain types (e.g. phone app, dialer, ...)

If someone wants to analyze iOS support and provide PR we will of course accept for the sake of the package.

Unfortunately, iOS does not provide any public API over the call logs unlike Android.
