Improve usability of time range defaults and selection

I am using the "Sensor Web JS Client" bundled with SOS:

I imported data into the SOS instance using the sos-importer. The data set contains entries ranging from 01.01.15 till 21.06.15.

1. Default time range

I select the station on the map, select a time series which takes me to the diagram mode:

Per default the current date is selected for the range: 30.07.15 - 30.07.15. Therefore, no data is shown.

2. Select start date

Since - at least in this case - I knew that the data set starts at 01.01.15 I want to update the start date for range. I set the start date to 01.01.15.

I confirm this dialog with OK. This brings me back to the diagram view. Instead of rendering the diagram it states:

Out of data range!

Change requests

1. Consider to automatically adapt the default time range selection to the time range available from the data set.
2. Consider to automatically adapt the end date to the last available date in the data set OR to render the time range as selected with the partially available data.
