Can we include sources in a deb channel?

This is needed for licence-compliance.

@obbardc The way we used to handle this is to generate an archive of source packages at the same time as the binary image. This helps satisfy the requirement of the GPL that source not only be available, but matching.

Exactly the plan, this works well when compiling from apt channels.

I am wondering if the source package is included when compiling from a local dir channel (e.g the Pideck debs folder).

That's a good point, we have not made allowances for the source tarballs of local packages.
