What is shared with Google?

So my usual approach is Google free devices and Foss apps. However I just got a car with Android Auto , so of course I want all the Google goodies without sacrificing my privacy, security, mental health etc.
My approach has been using a rooted pixel phone stock Android 11 without sim card , with its own separate Google account.
Got most thing automated and without connecting my person to the device in any way. This phone is always in the car.

I can live without phonecalls and SMS. But I want some options to call and/or send messages from Android auto. Signal and telegram with fake numbers in the works. However I want my regular open WhatsApp account accessible to Android auto. Hence I found this lovely app :)

So if I use this on my Google phone , will Google get the connection somehow?

I checked with exodus and I don't see a reason for it to do so but better ask.
