We should create a version of the suite that does not produce a webpage but instead simply returns a code that travis can interpret as a pass or fail. This will let us do lightweight continuous integration testing in PRs.

This is how we currently use this.

We used this first on Travis and now on Azure Pipelines. We run a modified checksum test for generated output files to avoid having to store silver files :)

oh... a checksum is a good idea.
