I am trying to use my laptop to communicate serially to an MBED NXP LPC1768 however, when I open my terminal emulator (CoolTerm) it informs me that no serial ports are available. The device its self seems to present its self as a mass storage device and I am able to access it through file explorer.
In an attempt to update the serial driver I have tried to download the serial driver given on this page... https://os.mbed.com/docs/mbed-os/v6.16/program-setup/windows-serial-driver.html however the download does not commence thus I cannot download the installer. I am aware that this installer is for windows 7 while newer version of window seem to run the driver “out of the box” however this does not seem to be the case (I am currently using Windows 10).
Could you please advice on how to over come this issue?
