Our mission is to advocate for support to social and economic issues facing young people and we partner with local communities around Africa to reconcile lives, alleviate poverty, defeat illiteracy, and assist recovery of the communities affected by humanitarian crisis.

Youth Camp Africa YCA
YCA is a refugee youth-led non-profit making organization that focuses on youth empowerment programs with main emphasis on livelihood and life skills development, peace building and conflict mitigation, HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases awareness and prevention, Access to safer water and hygiene promotion, sexual reproductive health and rights, through the designing of vibrant, innovative and creative local solutions to issues facing young People.
Founding
YCA was founded in 2018 by group of south Sudanese youth who are dedicated to serving and developing youth and other vulnerable groups like disabled, children and women peacefully, morally and to create social environment where young people are in forefront to advocate for conflicts, sexual transmitted diseases, poverty, illiteracy and SGBV/GBV free societies in Africa.
YCA strive to Support
Refugee youth access to quality, sustainable and productive life skills training that include access to free computer application training, panel discussion skills mentorship, photography and videography trainings and entrepreneurship skills to increasing opportunities to access both formal and informal education to enable them develop their communities and restore their hopes.

Strategic community approach:
We acknowledge that communities have better solutions to the challenges that face them
Work together with communities to eliminate vulnerability, illiteracy and powerless
Adopt sustainable Livelihoods frameworks to stimulate dialogue with local communities on fundamental issues that prolong peace, illiteracy, diseases and poverty
Effectively listen, recognize and empower communities to effectively break free from conflicts, illiteracy, infectious diseases and poverty.
Our Program value:
We attach Value to our program in order to foster youth participation in peace building and conflicts transformation, defeating illiteracy, alleviating poverty and zeroing new HIV/AIDs, STDs, & other infectious diseases infection
Our Program are based on core humanitarian standards, adheres to global standards with continuous monitoring and evaluation. We use robust processes to manage every aspect of our operations and Program work.
Working in Partnership:
We believe in partnering with government, donors, corporate an academia, other humanitarian and development actors in order to more effectively achieve our vision. This means combining our expertise to increase access to life skills trainings for refugees girls/boys and youth.
Advocacy:
We are focusing to contributing to the achievement of the sustainable development goals (SDGs). YCA do support refugee youth knowledge and skills to advocate for social and economic issues they face and while using the existing local resources.
Innovation
YCA do add new idea, varieties to existing life skills trainings offered and develop new handouts and manuals to our training curriculum
