Automatic1111 was working fine before. I installed some extensions and then restarted and then this shows up in the command prompt. What do I do?

you need to activate venv at first, and pip install only after that. so go to the venv>scripts folder. Run activate.bat. And then pip install pydantic==1.10.11 solved the problem for me

Double-clicking or "Run as administrator " on the activate.bat does nothing. I still uninstalled pydantic, then activated .bat and installed pydantic 1.10.11. But have the same error when starting webui-user.bat

Same problem I just tried installing controlnet and then it wouldn't start anymore. I tried the fixes mentioned here and none helped. Not even removing controlnet. What's going on, is my install nuked now?

Hello, I just solved the problem. It seems that the issue might be due to the version incompatibility between the Pydantic version used and the version referenced in the code where "Undefined" is being used.

To address this issue, I tried resetting the virtual environment. You can manually delete the venv folder in the directory and then create a new venv folder in the same directory. Then activate the virtual environment:

venv\Scripts\activate

After activation, restart webui-user.bat and wait for the new dependencies to be installed. Then, downgrade Pydantic to the version 1.10.15:

pip install pydantic==1.10.15

After that, run webui-user.bat again, and everything should work fine.

for me i reinstalled SD completely and worked.
if anyone want to install controlnet extension without any problem just after installing controlnet don't press "Apply and restart UI". Just close the UI then launch it again.

Hi guys, sorry in advance, I'm very much a noob to all this, is there a simple fix for this? I've spent hours trying fix this for this error:

I've tried the fix above, and many other fixes involving modifying the 'requirements.txt' file, replacing the 'webui.py' file with fixed version, and I'm still banging my head against a wall with this error.

Can someone please advise what I might be missing? I have A1111 installed, and it works fine. Forge on the otherhand doesn't.

1. Open your \stable-diffusion-webui\ folder
2. Write "cmd" in the path bar to open Windows Command Prompt from this folder
3. Inside CMD, write:

venv\Scripts\activate

4. Then, without closing CMD or changing directories, write:

pip install albumentations==1.4.3

5. And then write:

pip install pydantic==1.10.15

May not work for you, I honestly don't know what I'm doing half the time hahaha

hello, i tried everything, still doesnt work, roop isnt showing up in sdwebui, its marked as downloaded and installed and it just wont show up, and i tried re installing following your guides and many others, but when i dont get the missing python ( fixed by changing the path in sys variables ) i get the missing pydantic field. also i noticed after downgrading it to try to get it work, that when i launch web ui user after, its reinstalls it to 1.19 and still gets me the missing pydantic field message at the end. ive litteraly tried everything here, every topic, and many videos. been trying for 4 days, to understand how to keep my launcher to auto updating pydantic, after i downgrade it.

someone please help. cant stand another 5+ hours of re installing those again and again.
