Future of Automatic1111 for 2025

We started with Version 1.7 and it has been a wild year of discovery and now running 1.10.1 although x.x.1 is not show on release info.

Features we like to have as we continue to work with all versions.

Option to turn of auto update: 1.7 often have to tweak because it update to 1.10
Option to select version of web from such as 1.7 1.8 ... etc
Option to select version of torch
Option to select version of python

It is great that the install is so automated and requirements and dependency are handled. However we have manually created version mixes before using 1.10.1 and 1.10. We were able to get it to run with various versions of torch and python and not no so much now without tweaks. Even though the tested version were listed and the now hard coded into the install or clone it would still be nice to have manual tweaking. Why? because some checkpoints work better in different configurations of the webUI pull on Stable Diffusion based of 1.5 and SDXL 1. We have has some amazing image generations.

We run OS X with AMD 16GB, System 64GB Intel.

Why the options? Well because some generations are not always backward compatible so in order to work with a generation we have to revert back to the older version to continue to generate on the image with an almost exact match for consistency.

We have also had no luck in getting it to work with OS X Sequoia ver. 15.x. It generates but all it produces is an image of random color patterns. Some time you might see the image( cute mouse) barely make it out. But it just a blob of color patterns. We assume this has to due more with torch and python but since the webUI, calls on specific version it must get lost in translation.

Our best like over ComFYui is how easy it is to setup a workflow for really all aspects. When we did finally get ComFYui to work on OS X, we found it limited in some areas without extensive setups of the workflow. So We really would love someone to continue to work and develop the Automatic webui.

1.10 and a few earlier version do support SD 2 3 XL and seem to hand flux too. But more setting and extensions for those creating chkpts of SD 2.x SDXL and later would be great too.
