[Bug]: img2img batch is producing only 1 image

Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing issues and checked the recent builds/commits

What happened?

When I go to img2img > Inpaint and specify:

Batch count: 9
Script: Ultimate SD upscale

it produces only 1 image

is it a normal behaviour?

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Go to ....
2. Press ....
3. ...

What should have happened?

It should generate multiple images

I tried branch re-fix-batch-img2img-output-dir-with-script
using img2img batch + controlnet and set the output directory, the process active but it doesn't generate any file

but yeah it worked on the same version as yours, ControlNet v1.1.406

there is currently a major issue in dev branch which unfortunately re-fix-batch-img2img-output-dir-with-script is also based on
that would cause your settings for lots of extensions to be reverted to default if you press apply settings

a fixed PR has already been made
but even so re-fix-batch-img2img-output-dir-with-script is a danger to try
it's possible that you have lots of your settings reverted to default which might causes unintended behaviors

if you would want to actually test re-fix-batch-img2img-output-dir-with-script you will want to be careful and not applying any settings or you have to cherry pick #13213 on to re-fix-batch-img2img-output-dir-with-script

and also double check that your settings are actually correct

I updated all the fixes you listed under this issue from the dev branch, using the last settings, batch processing saves the images normally, but when I click on ControlNet's batch tab, outdir doesn't save the images again, or if I turn on ControlNet's backloop, the same thing happens!

I'm getting the same result with solo xyz in i2i, like 1-5% differences between each image at max, when I do them one by one it's way different. Is that related?

should be related unrelated
img2img batch mode just iterate through images in a directory
and so it should be identical as if you do them one by one
I suggest opening a new issue on this topic with detailed information so that it can be investigated
