I have the same issue on two different Linux computers, both running Ubuntu 22.04. The issue seems to be an incompatibility of the file browser Unity asset with the Wayland compositor, which is now the default compositor on Ubuntu: [1] https://forum.unity.com/threads/file-browser-native-file-browser.510403/page-6#post-6871733 The developer's initial suggestion from February 2021 was to use another Unity asset... Btw, is it possible to open-source Vizard? I would be happy to (try to) provide contributions. Cheers |

The File Browser plugin makers recommend the following if users are running Linux with the Wayland Compositor: To add support for Wayland, please create a shell-script that starts your application with X11 as backend, like this: "GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./.x86_64" or "GDK_BACKEND=x11 ./.x64" The newest release of FileBrowser PRO was tested with Ubuntu 22.04 with GTK3+. Our hope is that their latest release will solve some of our Linux users' issues. We will be testing using this latest file browser plugin in a few weeks after we wrap current projects. |

Hi all,
There appears to be an issue in the latest version of Vizard when run on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (the issue that is discussed here did not manifest itself on 20.04 TLS):
Vizard segfaults upon clicking on 'Select' next to the 'Basilisk Message File' selection box.
Starting Vizard in the terminal allowed me to retrieve more information on the segfault, which I hope can be helpful to the BSK developers :
