If microsoft/windows-rs#539 isn't resolved before I start on #12, I'll need to implement my own helpers for working with variants, since these are essential when implementing UIA.

FYI I wrote a helper and implemented it for a couple of initial VARIANT enums here: microsoft/windows-rs#539 (comment)

#49 has what we need for now. I can implement more helpers as needed for specific variant types.
