egui 0.24 introduced the multi-viewport feature which would play very nicely with docking systems like egui_dock.

In the next release we should first and foremost focus on integrating it in our library.

Will this by any chance be finished any time soon? I have a project that could desperately need this functionality, but not near the skill to contribute to it. Whats the status? :)

@MellquistD As far as I'm aware, eframe still doesn't support drag&drop between viewports, so this feature is blocked until that gets implemented.
