il sito non presenta alcuna pubblicità, ma nel momento in cui clicco in un qualsiasi posto, mi si apre un pop-up (che non viene caricato grazie al blocco dei contenuti, ma appunto viene comunque aperta una nuova scheda).

Not reproduced it on my end.
Try to clear browser data, update the filters (wait almost one minute there), open the site.
If that doesn't work, you should re-enable the content blockers in Safari settings (wait about the same time as when you update the filters).
