There was a pet xml with wrong data some weeks ago. If you downloaded this pet (and the application was installed), you get this message.
You can try to uninstall the application and reinstall it again (to remove any cached mate). Be sure to install the new version 1.3.1.

Excuse me. But the error in the picture means that IP address for raw.githubusercontent.com is not available. Because the host is blocked by some country. Could you add error handler for web accessing? IMHO, another solution is include XMLs in resource, and (auto/manual) check updates when opening Option dialog.

Yes, catching all errors would be a nice idea... Unfortunately, there aren't many exception handling in the code.
