Can you add RTMP pull for OME server?
https://airensoft.gitbook.io/ovenmediaengine/live-source/rtsp-pull-beta
This will be bandwidth saver for our servers.
We are using only WebRTC in OME.

Please describe your use case in detail.
Are there any servers that only support RTMP streaming? Doesn't that streaming server support RTSP? If a lot of people want this, I'll add it to our Backlog.

nginx rtmp module plugin didn't have rtsp output.
they support static push to other rtmp server (like ome) but its not dynamic.

I wonder if there is any reason to use nginx. This helps me a lot in making decisions. What functionality is lacking if you use a server like simple-rtsp-server (https://github.com/aler9/rtsp-simple-server) as an alternative?

@getroot +1 for this feature
nginx-rtmp does some automation for my streams and aggregates all streams.
I cannot replace it for something else currently.
This can also partially help with #468
Not used streams will not be pushed to OME and processed by OME.

+1 for rtmp pull. It would be great if it could be done via REST API.

This is a duplicate issue with #42, so I'm closing this issue. I will prioritize this feature. But we are so busy these days that we could start implementing this feature in early 2022.
