What happened?

When using a QuarryPlus Quarry, when it gets down to AllTheModium it mines the AllTheModium but doesn't actually give anything. My friend told me that in previous versions it would just skip past the AllTheModium but I haven't personally verified this.

a Developer said this is confirmed behavior and is supposed to happen
