I'm feeling a bit burnt out from solely working on Brisk for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, Brisk's GitHub repo has hit another plateau in terms of its stars and general recognition. It was going pretty well for a few days (about 100 or more stars gained in only 2-3 days) but now it appears that it's stuck yet again.
So yeah It's pretty depressing especially after working countless hours for 5 months and developing a new download engine for Brisk's v2.0.0.
Don't worry. I will still maintain the project with bug fixes and general improvements, but I'm putting huge features such as BitTorrent implementation and downloading video and audio streams from the browser on an indefinite hiatus. I will be moving on to other side-projects for a while as my main focus and maintain Brisk with improvements that don't consume too much of my time and energy. I assure you that the project is not abandoned by any means. It's only the huge features that are put on a hiatus.
Still, I might change my mind after giving myself some much needed rest. Working on major features while being employed full-time is quite challenging.
I never even expected a single person to use Brisk the day I started it so huge thanks to everyone who found my project interesting.
Btw v2.0.3 will be released in about 2-3 weeks with some improvements and an automatic update feature so that you will never have to manually download the latest version as the app will be able to update itself and notify you of the change log.
